Description: During the first class in this popular three-part series our distinguished presenters will focus on a basic will and estate plan for the client with an estate valued at less than the federal applicable exclusion amount, currently $13.61 million. The panel will review assets a person may dispose of by will, as well as factors to consider when making bequests. They also will discuss estate and inheritance tax at the state level, which often has a lower threshold than the federal estate tax. Additionally, the panel will address issues on collecting information from the client and collateral estate planning, including powers of attorney for financial matters and health care.
Those attending this class may also be interested in registering for Planning for Estates over $13.61 Million (On-Demand) and Senior Surviving Spouse Planning 2024 (On-Demand).
