Class Description: The final class in this series explores estate planning for senior surviving spouses with estates exceeding the federal applicable exclusion amount. This class addresses the unique challenges faced by clients who are navigating multigenerational wealth transfer and contemplating remarriage. Led by an expert panel, this session provides practical guidance on the following topics:
- Key will provisions tailored to the needs of a senior surviving spouse with children and grandchildren
- Advanced gifting strategies, including the use of generation-skipping trusts, Crummey trusts, qualified personal residence trusts (QPRTs), and charitable trusts
