Description: The ethics rules regarding with whom an attorney may communicate, what information the attorney may seek to obtain, and what disclosures an attorney must provide to a person before commencing communications, can be a minefield for attorneys unfamiliar with the finer points of the applicable rules. Join us for this informative and practical class that provides a comprehensive analysis of which parties, witnesses, and others an attorney may communicate with, and what the attorney may or may not discuss with such persons, with a particular emphasis upon communicating with unrepresented persons.
