This program will explore the factors that often contribute to a resist-refuse dynamic in a separating or divorced family. Presenters will discuss a model for intervention that has empirical support and common pitfalls of historical approaches. Finally, guidance will be offered for litigating attorneys who are faced with resist-refuse patterns in their cases.
