IN PERSON: DEIA Initiatives Under Attack, Using the Legal System to Push Back and Move Forward
Course Number:
C0325DI06I
Date:
March 13, 2025 4:00 PM - 7:00 PM ((GMT-05:00) Eastern Time (US & Canada))
Join the Diversity and Inclusion in Business and Finance Committee of the D.C. Bar Corporation, Finance and Securities Law Community for a compelling roundtable discussion on the future of Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Accessibility (DEIA) programs. In the wake of the tragic murder of George Floyd, efforts to enhance access and opportunities for traditionally marginalized groups have faced significant challenges. This session will provide a thought-provoking conversation on how to advance DEIA initiatives at this critical juncture, addressing systemic inequities and striving for a legal profession that truly reflects our nation's diverse tapestry.
Join us for the discussion from 4:00 - 5:30 PM, followed by networking with light refreshments. Pre-registration for this event is required. This event will be held at the D.C. Bar.
