In this four-hour session, you will learn how to craft your resume to win an interview, how to prepare for and ace an interview, and how to build a network to establish yourself in the legal community. You will also acquire sage advice on how to bring professionalism into the workplace on day one!
 
PROGRAM AGENDA:
 
THE RESUME TO INTERVIEW—Participants will learn how to prepare a professional-looking attorney resume, what they need to be on the lookout for when applying for a position, and what a cover letter should achieve.
 
KNOCK OUT INTERVIEW—Participants will learn how to prepare for an upcoming interview, how to begin the interview on the right foot, how to impress an interviewer, and what to do after the interview is over.
 
LUNCH PANEL – What are hiring managers looking for in a candidate and what can you do to impress from the outset? Experienced attorneys will join us for a candid discussion.
 
NETWORKING – Participants will learn how to prepare for networking, what to do at networking functions, and how to properly follow-up.
