In this panel discussion, three experts will examine the state of FOIA and modern challenges to realizing the law’s goal of open government. Panelists will address continued substantive and procedural barriers to accessing records; recent FOIA case law developments; the potential for improving FOIA administration through the Office of Government Information Services; and the prospect for FOIA reform in Congress.
