This eight-part course will be held over webinar January 9, 16, 23, 30, February 6, 13, 20 & 27.  The D.C. Bar Pro Bono Center, the DC Small Business Development Center (DC SBDC), and the DC Department of Small & Local Business Development (DSLBD) are co-sponsoring this course.


The course is designed for the *non-attorney* small business owner including sole proprietors, business partnerships, general managers, and owners of LLCs that seek to develop their capabilities. It provides an overview of setting up your business, contracts, employment law, risk/insurance, accounting, and intellectual property legal concerns.
 
 Registering here registers you for all eight sessions of this course. There is a one-time $75 fee that covers the entire course.
 
 The eight sessions will be held on consecutive Tuesdays, 4:00 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.:

·Tuesday, February 27, 2024: Risk Management & Insurance
 
Participants will learn the basics of employment law, risk management, contracts, intellectual property, and accounting from experienced business attorneys of D.C.’s most prestigious law firms.

Refund Policy: Please note that we are unable to provide refunds. If you have registered for a training with the D.C. Registration fees cannot be applied to future trainings.
