This introductory session provides a foundational overview of alternative investments and private markets, including private equity, private credit, and hedge strategies. Participants will learn how these investments differ from public markets, key considerations for incorporating alternatives into a portfolio, and where various strategies may fit across investor types, including the growing discussion around the use of alternatives within defined contribution and 401(k) plans.
Pre-registration for this program is required. As always, please feel free to share this invitation with colleagues. D.C. Bar membership is not required to attend. Non-members will need to create a profile to register.
