Voting Rights are at the core of constitutional democracies, yet exclusion and voter suppression have been prevalent throughout history. On the 100th Anniversary of the ratification of the 19th Amendment of the U.S. Constitution and in the backdrop of the current pandemic and upcoming elections, this topic is as relevant today as ever. This panel will discuss the issue of women's voting rights and the challenges they have faced in the quest for voter inclusion and participation, and how those challenges relate to the ones faced today by minorities as well.
