ON DEMAND: 30th Annual Real Estate Update: The St. Elizabeths East Campus Redevelopment Project

The redevelopment of St. Elizabeths East, a 183-acre campus, is one of the few remaining large economic development opportunities in the District of Columbia, and the transformation of this site is highlighted because of the city’s investment goals to create health equity, affordable housing and new employment opportunities. Latrena Owens (Executive Director, St. Elizabeths East Campus Redevelopment, Office of the Deputy Mayor for Planning and Economic Development) and Mei Li (Vice President, Development at Redbrick, LMD, which was selected to redevelop a substantial portion of St. Elizabeths East) will present on the progress and plans for the massive and consequential redevelopment project for the campus.
Roy Kaufmann, Esq. (Of Counsel at the law firm of Jackson & Campbell, PC) will present his annual Legislative Update of the District of Columbia legislation affecting real estate in the District of Columbia. Meridith Moldenhauer (Member at the law firm of Cozen O'Connor) will present her annual Case Law Update of the most important District of Columbia cases affecting real estate in the District of Columbia.
