Cyber experts from the private and public sector will address recent developments in Cybersecurity Law. Cyber attacks are at an unprecedented high and there is heightened federal scrutiny of data breaches. There are, as well, complex issues to navigate with the data control laws of foreign countries, This panel will offer expert insights into such topics as: recent regulatory developments (CIRCIA) and actions by the SEC, FTC and DOJ (including the criminal prosecution of the CEO of Uber), EU legal developments and global threat intelligence, and the uptick in ransomware attacks on M&A transactions. The panel will also offer insights into cyber issues likely to predominate in 2023.
