ON DEMAND: Responding to Calls for Greater Environmental Justice Accountability
The Biden Administration has placed a renewed focus on Environmental Justice, particularly through the recent issuances of Executive Orders 14008 and 13990. This program looks at Environmental Justice on the ground, and considers how federal agencies, companies, and advocates are responding to calls for greater Environmental Justice accountability. We bring together Environmental Justice experts from the realms of government, private practice, and advocacy groups to provide a portal into what environmental justice means from an advocacy perspective while also helping companies better understand their legal risks and opportunities related to environmental justice, and how the Federal government is interpreting its obligations under the executive orders.
