In 2024, D.C. voters supported a ballot initiative that would implement Ranked-Choice Voting in the District of Columbia. The D.C. Council funded RCV in the FY2026 budget. Ranked-choice voting will be used to tabulate votes in all 2026 elections where there are 3 or more candidates for a position. Join the D.C. Bar's D.C. Affairs Community for an informative discussion with the Chair of the D.C. Board of Elections, its General Counsel and other experts, to learn how RCV will be implemented in this year's elections.
