This eight-part course will be held over webinar January 23, 30, February 6, 13, 19, 27, March 6 & 13. The D.C. Bar Pro Bono Center and the DC Small Business Development Center (DC SBDC) are co-sponsoring this course.
The virtual course is designed for the *non-attorney* small business owner including sole proprietors, business partnerships, general managers, and owners of LLCs that seek to develop their capabilities. It provides an overview of setting up your business, contracts, employment law, risk/insurance, accounting, and intellectual property legal concerns.
Registering here registers you for all eight sessions of this course. There is a one-time $150 fee that covers the entire course.

All sessions will be recorded and available to re-watch for two months after the course ends.
Participants will learn the basics of employment law, risk management, contracts, intellectual property, and accounting from experienced business attorneys of D.C.’s most prestigious law firms.
