To commemorate Veterans Day, the D.C. Bar Public Interest and Courts Community invites you to a remote program exploring the critical role of legal support in protecting veterans’ rights and ensuring access to justice. A distinguished panel will examine the unique legal challenges veterans face in securing benefits, navigating appeals, and addressing civil legal needs that impact their well-being. The discussion will highlight the role of the Court of Appeals for Veterans Claims, the responsibilities of the Department of Veterans Affairs, and opportunities for collaboration across courts, agencies, and nonprofit partners. Don’t miss this important conversation on advancing justice for those who have served.
