Credits: 2.0 ethics and professionalism credit hours
Description: This new and highly interactive class brings ethics to life through four thought-provoking video vignettes produced by the Antonin Scalia Law School at George Mason University and GMU-TV. Each vignette portrays real-world scenarios where even well-intentioned lawyers can stumble into ethical challenges. This class explores common but complex situations, including the following:
- Joint representations
- Aggregate settlements
- Lawyer transitions between firms
- Conflicts with former clients
You’ll engage in lively discussions to evaluate the risks, weigh potential consequences, and determine the most ethical path forward. Walk away with practical strategies to apply in your own practice – ensuring you’re prepared for the gray areas of legal ethics.
