Credit: 0 CLE Credit Hours Join the Tax Audits and Litigation Committee of the D.C. Bar Taxation Community for a presentation on the Employee Retention Credit (ERC). Panelists will discuss the latest updates and the current state of this credit, covering key areas such as an overview of the ERC, its purpose, and eligibility criteria. This session will also examine recent legislative changes and IRS guidance affecting the ERC, common issues and challenges faced by businesses in claiming the ERC, including recent IRS denial letters and the appeals process. Additionally, we will provide guidance on how to ensure accurate and compliant reporting of the ERC, including documentation requirements and best practices for record-keeping. The program will conclude with a Q&A segment, offering an opportunity to ask questions and gain insights from experts in the field.Pre-registration for this program is required.
