Impact investing is increasingly being used by commercial and charitable players alike as a key tool to advance societal and environmental goals through market-based solutions. The heightened interest in impact investing reflects a growing commitment to corporate social responsibility and mission-alignment and plays a role across sectors—from charitable grantmakers to micro-finance providers to impact investment funds. Join us as our panelists discuss the fundamentals of impact investing. Topics will include an overview of impact investment structures, the role of impact investors, the legal framework for charitable organizations engaging in impact investing (with a particular focus on private foundations), and other practical considerations.
