With an eye toward these developments and the high-profile investigations currently occurring – especially those directed at private parties – this class focuses on how Congress conducts its investigations, including the unique scope of its subpoena power and enforcement procedures. By attending you will learn the way congressional staffers conduct these investigations, how they interact with respondents, and the respondents’ options in addressing those inquiries.
