ON DEMAND: Guardianship and Probate Series: A Primer on the D.C. Superior Court Probate Division Fee Petitions Guidelines
By Administrative Order 23-20, the Chief Judge of the Superior Court adopted for use the Probate Division Fee Petitions Guidelines, effective November 1, 2023. The Guidelines are intended to promote consistency and fairness in the billing for, and approval of, compensation for court-appointed fiduciaries in the Probate Division.
In this presentation, several practitioners will address the new guidelines, cover recent case law, and provide advice on drafting fee petitions.
