Join us for this new and insightful class that explores the evolution of international humanitarian law (IHL), and the pivotal role of the Red Cross Movement in this process. Our engaging panel will discuss how IHL has developed through U.S. regulations, bitter experience, international conventions, treaties, and legal decisions. Those who attend will leave with an understanding of how to analyze the legality of actions in armed conflicts, and the role the Red Cross Movement has played in the development of modern IHL.
