This live webinar will:
- Provide an overview of the two Social Security Administration disability programs: SSI and SSDI
- Provide an overview of several of the Department of Veterans Affairs disability programs
- Compare similarities and differences between the SSA and VA programs and distinguish eligibility requirements
- Identify how SSA and VA programs can be compatible
- Provide strategies for applying for both benefits
- Identify questions to consider and red flags for applying for both SSA and VA disability benefits.
- Provide interactive case scenarios
PLEASE NOTE: Training participants must agree to accept one pro bono housing case within three months of this training. This training requirement is waived for attorneys employed by legal services providers.

Refund Policy: Please note that we are unable to provide refunds. If you have registered for a training with the D.C. Bar Pro Bono Center and are unable to attend, we do permit someone else from your organization to attend the training in your place with twenty-four hours of prior notice. Registration fees cannot be applied to future trainings.
